On March 14, 1950 the FBI had just created the "Ten most wanted fugitives" list. This caused an increase of ability to capture wanted fugitives. This also increased more abilities for law enforcement. The list began with Thomas James Holden who had shot his wife and her two brothers to death. The second person on the list was Morley Vernon King who had murder his wife and tried to hide her body. The third person was William Nesbit for beating someone to death and causing a black powder explosion and putting peoples lives at risk.
